HRCC upgrades road to school
Disaster Preparedness Prog concludes

Srinagar, Apr 28: In a goodwill gesture, Hassan Road Construction Company (HRCC) a prominent private company into construction business got a road to a government high school at Pantha Chowk upgraded within five days of a disaster preparedness program there.
Sources said the senior Civil Defence Volunteers, Muhammed Sultan Mir and Zahoor Ahmed Mir, the proprietors of HRCC Pvt Ltd Athwajan during the training program were shocked to see the dilapidated condition of the road adding that without being told by anybody they volunteered to repair it that too in no time.
When contacted the company’s Director Omar Yaqoob Mir said the HRCC would continue to do such works in future as well.
“We feel it our responsibility to contribute towards the society,” Omar told Greater Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar Baseer Ahmed Khan, who is also the Controller of Civil Defence and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Civil Defence, Mubarak Ahmed Ganai and the school Principal of the School have appreciated HRCC people.
Meanwhile the five day disaster preparedness and civil defence basic training course organized by Civil Defence, Srinagar and Divisional Disaster Management Authority, concluded at the school.(GKNN)
