National Conference goes hi-tech

Srinagar, Apr 28: National Conference media cell on Friday launched the party’s official accounts on the social networking site Twitter and Facebook, the NC spokesman Tanvir Sadiq said.
“The working president Omar Abdullah is very particular about the party being accessible to the media as well as the general public and as such has directed us to be available to everyone” he said. “Facebook and the twitter accounts will be interactive, receptive and quick to respond, Anyone can follow us at @jknc_ and Facebook”.
Talking about the importance of the social networking sites and how people all over the world have become tech savvy, Tanvir said, “This initiative is for anyone but mainly for the youth so that they can reach out to us. We will be more than happy to assist and help them in every possible way”.
“Any queries or matter concerning the party in general may be sent to the Party headquarters directly or mailed at jandknc@yahoo.com or ncpresshq@yahoo.com.
The spokesman said that the website of the party is up and running and can be accessed at www.jknc.in adding that the media apart from other numbers can contact the Media Cell of the party at #2454178,” he added.
Meanwhile tweeting about the new account the working president Omar Abdullah said that it is a new and improved twitter account of the JK National Conference.
