Omar started new era of development: Altaf
Srinagar, Apr 28: The Minister for forest and Environment, Mian Altaf Ahmad on Saturday said that Omar Abdullah led Government is very much keen to provide basic facilities to the people and committed to develop infrastructure for the overall development of the State.
The Minister while inaugurating one day spring festival, organized by Sonamarg Development Authority in coordination with Academy of Art, Culture and Languages at Sonamarg said, “Since the day Omar Abdullah took reins of the present government, a new era of development has started in every nook and corner of the State.”
Highlighting the main aim and objective of organising this festival, Mian Altaf said that during the last three years a number of projects including State of the art Sonamarg Club for high-end tourist, youth hostel for adventure tourists, yatri niwas and Tourism Reception Centre have been constructed at a cost of Rs 9 crore, which have a capacity of accommodating thousands of tourists simultaneously.
