Rs 133 cr advanced under CAP

Budgam, Apr 28: An amount of Rs 133 crore has been advanced by various financial institutions under Credit Action Plan in district Budgam during 2011-12 and Rs 40 crore under non-priority sector during the same period in the district. This, according to an official statement, was revealed in a review meeting of 40th District Level Consultative Committee meeting held here under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Budgam, Muhammad Rafi.
In the meeting, it was disclosed that Rs 133 crore has been advanced for setting up 8764 income generated units under priority sector and Rs. 40 crore were advanced for the establishing 1965 income generating units under non-priority sector. The meeting was also attended Additional Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, Muhammad Akbar Ganai, Joint Director Planning, Farooq Ahmad Pasvi, District Manager, J&K Bank, District Manager, Lead Bank, Muhammad Yaqoob, officers of NABARD, RBI, Regional Manager, State Bank of India and other concerned officers.
