Jamia adds new course to nurture acting talents

New Delhi, Apr 2: Youngsters who hope to make a career for themselves in the field of acting can now turn to the prestigious Jamia Milia Islamia for a new course that will nurture them for the television and cinema industry.
 The coming academic session will see the media institute of the University adding a new diploma in Acting to its list of offerings. The Postgraduate Diploma programme of the AJK Mass Communication Research Centre will be of a one-year duration and will offer a total of 20 seats to budding acting professionals.
 The University has invited applications from interested candidates who are required to express interest by May 3, following which the applicants will be made to go through an entrance examination and an interview.
