Omar nominated National Conference working president

Jammu, Apr 7: While retaining the presidency of the National Conference, Union Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah Saturday named his son and Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah as the party's Working President.
Dr Farooq, who reorganized the top party posts, made his younger brother Sheikh Mustafa Kamal the Additional General Secretary.
Dr Farooq’s cousin Sheikh Nazir Ahmad will be the party's General Secretary, Muhammad Shafi Uri was nominated as the Chief Spokesperson, while MLA Kishtwar Sajad Ahmed Kichloo was given the charge of Spokesman for Jammu region.
