Police hold drug de-addiction programme
Srinagar, Apr 7: As an effort to bring the drug de- addiction services to the people of Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir police in collaboration with Drug De-addiction PCR and Directorate of Health Services organized an awareness and treatment camp at Town Hall Budgam in central Kashmir, a police spokesman said on Saturday.
“The doctors and counselors saw 218 patients at the camp and provided free medicine to them. Among which 14 patients were diagnosed with acute substance abuse problems,” the spokesman quoted Additional Superintendent of Police Budgam Niva Jain as having said.
