Prominent businessman joins PC
Srinagar, Apr 7: A renowned businessman of north Kashmir Ashiq Hussain Bhat has joined Peoples’ Conference. Hailing from Langate zone, Hussain along with his supporters officially joined PC in presence of constituency head Hafizullah Mir, Javaid Iqbal Mir, Nazir Ahmed Lone and other senior workers, a party spokesman said in a statement.
Meanwhile, PC Chairman Sajad Gani Lone welcomed Bhat’s inclusion in the party. “Joining of Ashiq Hussain Bhat along with his supporters reiterates the fact that people in Kashmir are up for a change. The policies of National Conference and PDP have always let down the people of Kashmir and PC is increasingly seen as the game changer of future politics in Kashmir.”
