Geelani urges KPs to return

Srinagar, Apr 8: Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Shah Geelani on  Sunday urged Kashmiri Pandits to return.
“Pandits are part and parcel of our society. They can return whenever they want. We will welcome them with open arms,” Geelani told a delegation of Kashmiri Pandits here.
Geelani said both Muslims and Pandits were facing problems due to Kashmir issue remaining unresolved. “Our Pandit brethren shouldn’t behave as mute spectators and should play their role vis-a-vis resolution of Kashmir dispute. We are not demanding right to self determination only for Muslims, but for entire population of Jammu and Kashmir,” Geelani said.
He urged Pandits to raise their voice against New Delhi “looting” the natural resources of Kashmir.
