Fazil Kanth T20 Cricket Tourney on
Srinagar, July 31: In the ongoing Fazil Kanth Memorial T20 Cricket tournament Shams-ul-Haq Cricket club defeated Rehmat Cricket Club in a low scoring affair by 27 at Islamia College ground here on Tuesday.
The superb six-wicket spell by Maqsood Rasool helped Shams-ul-Haq defend a paltry total of 79 runs against Rehmat CC. Batting first, Shams-ul-Haq were bundled out for 79 runs. Muhammad Ashraf with 26 was highest scorer for them while as Hussain, Amir and M. Hussain took three wickets each for Rehmat CC.
In reply, Rehmat CC were bundled out for 52 runs; only thanks to Maqsood Rasool’s bowling who wrecked havoc in Rehmat CC batting lineup. He claimed six wickets sealing the fate of match in his team’s favour.
