HBOA seeks new transformer for Nigeen
Srinagar, July 31: Houseboat Owners’ Association has appealed the Chief Engineer, Power Development Department to get a high capacity transformer installed at Nigeen here to relieve them of the power problem.
“We are facing lot of problems as the transformer installed at the place develops technical snags very often. We have time and again appealed the PDD to install a high capacity transformer here but to no avail,” they said. “The tourists staying in houseboats and guesthouses in the area are facing inconvenience due to power failures,” Muhammad Rafi, Secretary HBOA said.
“We appeal the PDD to install a new transformer in the area, so that tourists don’t face any hardship during their stay here,” he said.
