Masrat Alam released, rearrested

Srinagar: Muslim league leader Masrat Alam was today rearrested after being released from Kathua jail, Hurriyat Conference (G) spokesperson Ayaz Akbar told KNS.
 “Since 2010 courts have quashed five PSAs against Alam, and today when his relatives went to receive him at Kathua jail, the jail authorities rearrested him”, Ayaz Akbar said.He said Alam was taken to some unknown place after being arrested, he said.
 Meanwhile quoting Hurriyat Conference Chairman Syed Ali Geelani, Ayaz Akbar said, “We outrightly condemn the action. J&K police are not honoring any court judgments which have resulted in complete lawlessness.”
