Woman dies, man injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Aug 11: An elderly woman died while a man was injured in two separate road accidents, police said on Saturday.
 A vehicle bearing (No. JK05/1037) driven by Muhammad Amin Dar son of Abdullah Dar of Kakapora, Pulwama on way from Srinagar to Islamabad (Anantnag) hit a pedestrian lady Taja Begum, 65, wife of Ghulam at Bijbehara resulting in her on spot death.
 In another accident Sumo (No. JK05A/4334) on way from Kupwara towards Sopore hit and injured Bashir Ahmed Sheikh, 32, son of Ghulam Muhammad of Chwyan Lolab at Cement Bridge, Kupwara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
