Govt sanctions CM's Gold medal for 5 officers
Srinagar Aug, 14: The government has accorded sanction to the grant of Chief Minister's Gold Medal for honesty-integrity and meritorious public service for the year-2012 in favour of five officers of the State government.
These officers will receive a cash prize of rupees one lakh each, a citation and a certificate on August 15.
The officers are Chief Electoral Officer, Umang Narula, Commissioner Secretary, Rural Development Department, Farooq Ahmad Peer, Vice-Chairman, Lakes and Waterways Development Authority Irfan Yaseen, Director, Resources and Institutional Finance Rashim Kashyap and Chief Engineer, R&B, Kashmir Mushtaq Ahmad Lone respectively.
Meanwhile, with a view to boost the morale of employees, JKSRTC for the first time has launched presentation of Gold and Silver medals, besides cash rewards to its meritorious employees for their remarkable performance.The awards were presented by the Managing Director, JKSRTC JS Tandon today.
