Eidgah Park inaugurated
Srinagar, Aug 16: Mubarak Gul, Advisor to Chief Minister, today visited Eidgah and dedicated Eidgah Park to the public.
On the occasion, he also inaugurated fountains and a swimming pool inside the park. Gul asked officers and locals to suggest steps for further upgradation of the park.
Reiterating the government’s commitment to fulfill aspirations of the common people and developmental needs, the Advisor said several steps have been taken to ensure all round development in the State, especially in Shahr-e- Khas.
Gul also inspected development of the historic Eidgah ground. He was informed, that leveling and cleaning of the ground would be completed before Eid.
Gul was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Baseer Ahmed Khan, Vice Chairman Waqf Board, MY Qadri, Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Dr. GN Qasba.
