Mufti, Mehbooba greet people on Eid ul fitr
Srinagar, Aug 17: Peoples Democratic party Patron Mufti Muhammad Sayeed and President Mehbooba Mufti have greeted the people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Wishing 'Eid Mubarak' to all citizens of Jammu and Kashmir state, Mufti said “the festival brings joy and happiness on the conclusion of the month of Holy Ramadan, a period of fasting, prayer and charity."
"May this festival strengthen mutual goodwill and inspire each one of us to follow the path of love, friendship, harmony and peace" he added.
Party President Mehbooba Mufti said: "The celebrations marking the end of the Ramadan fasting foster peace and harmony and reflect the true spirit of our composite culture."
"May the festival spread peace, tolerance and harmony among all," she prayed.
