Panun Kashmir expresses concern over lady’s death
Srinagar, Aug 17: Panun Kashmir has expressed serious concern over the death of a Kashmiri Pandit lady Lalita Raina, who was hit by the vehicle driven allegedly by the teenage daughter of an SSP at the Gulshan Ground, Jammu on Thursday, a spokesman of the organization said in a statement on Friday.
He alleged that teenage girl was driving the vehicle in a rash manner and hit the lady who was walking on the footpath, which led to her untimely death on the spot.
Kuldeep Raina, General Secretary, Panun Kashmir said the people from the Durga Nagar and Chinoore area had kept the body on the Chinore Chowk and demanded justice for the grief stricken family. “It is unfortunate that the administration’s response was sloppy to the situation as the emotions ran high among the people,” Raina said.
