Sangarmaal to host Eid Salah parking: SP Traffic
Srinagar, Aug 17: For the Eid Ul Fitr prayers at TRC Grounds, parking space for vehicles will be available at Sangarmaal, Superintendent of Police Traffic Srinagar Haseb Ur Rehman Friday said.
He appealed the prospective Musalees to park their vehicles at the SDA owned parking lot on the MA link Road adding that a nominal fee of Rs 5 would be charged for parking.
He acknowledged that the parking space for around 2000 vehicles would avoid congestion adding that the facility has come as a blessing.
Pertinently the Srinagar Development Authority has voluntarily offered its free space adjacent to the Sangarmaal shopping plaza for parking of vehicles as a “festive bonanza” for the upcoming Eid. The initiative has been widely hailed while it equally boosted the footfall at the Sangarmaal.
