TAAK to hold 2-day convention at Lolab
Will promote newly developed destinations of Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 1: Travel Agents Association of Kashmir (TAAK) today resolved to promote and sell the newly developed areas of Kashmir in domestic and international trade fairs and road shows.
In its EC committee meeting chaired by its president Rauf Tramboo here today, a final shape was given to the programs which includes future participation in tourism trade fairs and road shows in some prominent and potentially the best places in domestic market.
In the meeting it was also decided that TAAK will send its members to participate in all the FAM tours which will be organized by the department of tourism for promotion of Kashmir tourism.
TAAK has also finalized the dates to hold its Convention and Annual General Meet (AGM) of its members at Lolab valley from September 14 to 16, besides having the brain storming sessions for planning of future tourism strategy to attract the high end tourists to Kashmir.
“A separate session for promotion of adventure tourism will be held to boost the eco and adventure in Jammu and Kashmir and also on the last day of convention TAAK will facilitate the awards of excellence 2012 to some prominent personalities of the state who have contributed in different fields of work in Jammu & Kashmir,” TAAK in a statement said.
