2 girls commit suicide, boy battling for life
Srinagar, Aug 23: Two girls have committed suicide while one youth is battling for life after they consumed poison, police said.
“One 11 years girl (name withheld) resident of Cheek Rambirpora, Kulgam consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was immediately shifted to SMHS Srinagar, however, she breathed her last on way to hospital”, said a police spokesman.
Another 15 year old girl (name withheld) resident of Wagoora, Kreeri consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to SKIMS Soura but died on way to the hospital.
In another incident, 22 year old Gulzar Ahmad Chopan son of Abdul Satar Chopan resident of Watergam Kreeri, Baramulla, consumed some poisonous substance at his home. He was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kreeri where from he has been referred to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment, the police spokesman said.
