Srinagar, Aug 25: Prominent filmmaker Yash Raj Chopra and Anuskha Sharma, who shares the triangular star cast with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif for their upcoming but still untitled movie, arrived in the summer Capital Saturday, some days ahead of SRK’s first ever visit to Kashmir for the film shooting.
As for Yash Raj Chopra, who captured Kashmir in many of his hits in the yesteryears, looked emotionally charged as he landed at Srinagar International Airport, some three decades after his last trip.
“I feel like having come back home,” Chopra said as his longtime friend and prominent tourism player Nazir Ahmed Bakshi received him at the airport.
The filmmaker was flanked by his wife, while actress Anushka Sharma who too was accompanying them remained attraction at the airport where adequate security arrangements were in place to keep the crowds away from the Bollywood sensation donning a  jeans and a  shirt with goggles hiding her eyes, till they left for Pahalgam in south Kashmir.
But much against situation which could bring embarrassment for the state government as it happened earlier during the trip business tycoon Anil Ambani who got stuck in Traffic jam at chocked Pantha Chowk, a helicopter was waiting for the Bollywood teams travel ahead to the hill resort. Otherwise the celebrities could have ended up stuck in traffic jam, at Pantha Chowk, a vital portion of the highway Srinagar-Jammu highway awaiting widening for years.
Bakshi, who runs the Srinagar based Shiraz Travels, escorted the celebrities upto the helicopter wherefrom they flew to Pahalgam.
Bakshi whose travel agency is hosting travel and related facilities for the Bollywood crew for the big shoot hailed the state government in general and police in particular for managing “excellent arrangements.”
The veteran tourism player said the other Bollywood guests who left for Pahalgam by road didn’t face any inconvenience enroute.
Official sources said the Traffic police was at pins to give a smooth passage to the motorcade particularly at Pantha Chowk, where Anil Ambani was stuck in a jam earlier this year when he too was heading towards Pahalgam.
Meanwhile shooting is believed to have started while Khawar Jamsheed, a line producer  for the shooting was seen accompanying the crew.
