Panday reviews power scenario

Srinagar, Aug 27: Principal Secretary to Government, Power Development Department, Sudhanshu Pandey Monday reviewed the functioning of power distribution system in the state at a high-level meeting here.
 The meeting was attended by Divisional Commissioner Power (J&K), Chief Engineer M&RE Wing Kashmir, all SEs and Xen’s of M&RE Wing Kashmir.
 An official spokesman said Pandey expressed his satisfaction over the distribution of power supply particularly during the month of holy month of Ramadhan and directed the officers of PDD to continue the maintenance of power supply in ensuing months so that people get better electricity services.
 “In the meeting the threadbare discussion was held on various issues like revenue, accurate metering, billing and maintenance of electrical network.
