Dalgate Blues, FCC Hawal Greens emerge victorious

Srinagar, Aug 2: In the Under-19 Naqshband Sahab (RA) 30-Over cricket tournament organised by J&K Cricket Players Association, two matches were played at Radapora Sports stadium here on Thursday.
In the first match, Dalgate Blues defeated Saudi Shalimar by 20 runs. Batting first, Dalgate Blues was all out for 140 runs. Suhail with 53 and Aijaz with 19 were highest scorers for them. For Saudi Shalimar, Danish took four wickets while as Saqib took two.
In reply, Saudi Shalimar was bundled out for 121 runs. Taseer with 25 and Tanveer with 15 were the only notable scorers for them. Waseem took four wickets while as Aijaz took three for Dalgate Blues.
In the second match of the day, FCC Hawal Greens defeated Moti Cricket Club Nishat in a low scoring thriller by two wickets.
Batting first, Moti Cricket Club was all out for 113 runs. Maqbool with 42 was highest scorer for them while as Faisal took four wickets and Amir took three for FCC Hawal.
In reply, FCC achieved the required target in 23 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Sheezan with 30 and Aijaz with 28 were highest scorers for them while as Maqbool took three wickets for Moti CC.
