FCC Hawal defeats RCC Budgam
PARVEZ QURESHI CRICKET TOURNAMENT
Srinagar, Aug 2: FCC Hawal defeated RCC Budgam by four wickets in a match played in the ongoing Parvez Qureshi Memorial Cricket Tournament at Kashmir University ground here on Thursday.
Batting first, RCC Budgam was bundled out for 167 runs in 38.4 overs. Ahsan Ali with 33 runs was highest scorer for the batting team while as Ali Muhammad and Rameez scored 26 runs each. Javed took three wickets while Showkat took two for FCC.
In reply, FCC Hawal achieved the required target for the loss of six wickets in 34 overs. Showkat with unbeaten 38 was highest scorer for them while as Javed scored 24 runs. Ali Muhammad took two wickets for RCC. FCC won the match by four wickets.
The event is being organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association.
