Man drowns in Budgam

Srinagar, Aug 30: A farmer was drowned in a water sump in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
Police said Muhammad Qasim Allie son of Ghulam Muhammad resident of Labertal was drowned in the water sump located in the premises of a brick kiln, at Laberbal. Police said the body was fished out and handed over to his relatives for last rites. Police has initiated an inquest proceeding under section 174 CrPC in this regard.
