Market checking at Kupwara

Kupwara, Aug 4: The Legal Metrology Unit of district Kupwara under the supervision of Assistant Controller today conducted inspection of Bus Stand Kupwara and booked 08 cases against the erring traders for violation of different provisions of the Standards of Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1997/Packaged Commodities Rules and realized a composition (fine) of Rs. 3,100/- on spot, an official statement said.
