AIKS presents memorandum to Governor
Srinagar, Aug 6: Moti Kaul, President, All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS), called on Governor NN Vohra at Raj Bhavan here on Monday and presented to him a memorandum of demands.
“The demands projected in the Memorandum included, inter-alia, enhancement of cash relief for the Kashmiri migrants, providing a special package for Kashmiri Pandits who stayed back in the Kashmir Valley and implementation of the Prime Minister’s Employment Package for the Kashmiri migrants,” an official spokesman said.
He said the Governor assured Kaul that he would address the Chief Minister regarding the demands projected in the Memorandum.
