Pune blasts

The recent serial blasts, that rocked Pune, are an action replay of low intensity serial blasts  that took place in Ahmedabad a few years back. The only witness that is available, in this case, is that of an injured person named Dayanand Patil a resident of nearby village, who is reported to have visited the spot opposite  the Balgandreva Theatre, where a dharna by ‘India Against corruption’ was in progress. As per Police Sources the explosives that had been placed in his bag exploded on the way. This is one side of the story. On the other side Indian media, particularly electronic, has gone hammer and tongs in blaming the Muslims. From all initial indicators and modus- operandi it appears to be a handiwork of reactionary Hindu activists against the elevation of Shivraj Shinde, a dalit as Home minister. The point to be noted is how easily the police believed the statement of the person carrying the bomb. Compare it with the torture the person would have gone through had he been a Muslim. This sheer bias of Indian media against Muslims.
