Address Kashmir
This refers to the news “Don’t leave out Kashmir: Separatists tell Islamabad.” I completely agree with the assertions made by JKLF Chief Yasin Malik, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Syed Ali Geelani. It is good that all have urged Pakistan to render diplomatic, political and moral support to Kashmir, as has been the case in the past. Pakistan is an important element to Kashmir resolution. Unless it supports the cause, it would be difficult to reach to any conclusion. Furthermore, Pakistan must come out of internal crisis. Only then it would be possible for the country’s leadership to support Kashmir. Geelani has rightly reminded the Pakistan authorities that the country is morally bound to prevail upon India to resolve Kashmir issue. Let’s hope the issue of Kashmir is addressed by both India and Pakistan in a cordial manner as soon as possible.
