Dr Jitendra flays Geelani

Jammu: Taking strong exception to what he called a highly “irresponsible and provocative” speech by Syed Ali Shah Geelani played out on the public audio system during the funeral of Hizbul Commander and Delhi High Court blast accused Amir Ali Kamal in Kishtwar yesterday, the BJP National Executive Member & JK Chief Spokesperson Dr Jitendra Singh on Wednesday alleged that the separatist leader’s unauthenticated allegations of genocide against a particular community amount to an act of sedition and a deliberate attempt to spread communal hatred.
 Singh accused the ruling parties, National Conference and Congress, of playing a dangerous game of appeasement of separatists and militants in the hope of buying peace with communal elements to continue in power. He warned that such a misguided approach is always bound to be self-limiting and it invariably ends up consuming the ruler himself.
