Zakura complains of cooking gas shortage

Srinagar Aug 8: The residents of Zakura and adjacent areas have complained of acute shortage of cooking gas.
A delegation from the area told Greater Kashmir that “We are facing shortage of cooking gas since July.” “We have to run from pillar to post to get the cooking gas in wee hours and still return high and dry,” the inhabitants said.
“The area comprises of some 2500 households and one truckload is just not sufficient,” Javed Ahmad Reshi, a local said.
The complainants have appealed Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Dr Asgar Hassan  Samoon to look into the matter.
