Mediation workshop organised in Handwara

Srinagar, Dec 9: A one day mediation and conciliation workshop was organised by District Legal Service Authority Kupwara at Town Hall Handwara on Sunday in which judicial officers of the district and members of Bar Association Kupwara and Handwara participated.
 The workshop was organised under the chairmanship of Principal District and Sessions Judge Kupwara Shazad Azim. Chief Judicial Magistrate Handwara O P Baghat, Sub Judge Kupwara Javed Gilani, Munsiff Handwara Noor Mohammad, Munsiff Kupwara Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone and Munsif Sogam and Tanghdar, Sajad-ur-Rehman delivered lectures on concept of mediation and conciliation and its role in judicial system.
 Shahzad Azim made a detailed discussion on the concept of mediation and conciliation and how to implement it in the society.
 Before the conclusion of the workshop a question answer session was held in which participants freely asked questions.
