The inhabitants of Kalantara, Danmoha, Tangwari, Bandi, Muqam and adjoining areas said they face immense problems due to unscheduled power cuts.
“Despite paying electricity dues we have been deprived of regular power supply,” the inhabitants said.
They said due to unscheduled power cuts the students face inconvenience. “We can’t concentrate on studies due to erratic power supply” said a group of students appearing in the ongoing University exams.
The inhabitants accused the PDD officials posted at Chandoosa Receiving Station of resorting to unscheduled power cuts.
"The concerned PDD officials don't follow any schedule and resort to unscheduled power cuts. The problem is compounded by low voltage. The voltage is so low that we have to use candles,” said Ashfaq Ahmad a resident said.
“If PDD does not improve power supply we would be forced to take to streets,” the locals said.
