Burn Hall emerges winner

Srinagar, Dec 12: Burn Hall School emerged out as winner of the Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy, Coca Cola Inter-School Football Tournament defeating Heavens Land Qamarwari in the final played at Polo Ground here on Wednesday.
Though both teams played quality football, It was Burn Hall who was the dominant side from the start. Burn Hall defeated Heavens Land by 3-1.
In the first half, Asrar scored first goal for Burn Hall in the 9th minute of the game and in 17th minute Yahay scored second for them. At halftime, score was 2-0 in favour of Burn Hall.
In the second half, it was Heavens Land who started to attack from the start and made repeated attacks on Burn Hall. In the 40th minute Hayat scored first goal for Heavens Land and gave his team some hope of bouncing back in the match. In contrary, Burn Hall through Ali succeeded in scoring their third goal of the match thus taking match away from Heavens Land. Burn Hall won match by 3-1 and lifted the title. The award ceremony of the event would be held on Saturday December 15.
