Govt committed to Shaher-e-Khaas development: Sagar
Inaugurates Moulana Jami Community Hall at Rozabal
Srinagar, Dec 12: Minister for Rural Development, Panchayat Raj, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Muhammad Sagar Wednesday said the National Conference led government was committed to develop Shaher-e-Khaas on modern lines but in accordance with the heritage features of the old City.
He said “people are aware about the measures undertaken in this regard and the parties who are trying to mislead them have always propagated divisive politics for their political interests.”
The Minister, as per an official handout, was addressing a huge gathering after inaugurating a Community Hall constructed by the Srinagar Municipal Corporation at an estimated cost of Rs 1.30 crore at Arm Masjid, Rozabal Khanyar. The facility “would go a long way in providing the facilities for the community and other related functions of the people of Rozabal area and its catchments.”
Vice Chairman, Wakaf, MY Qadiri and senior officers of various departments attended the inauguration which among others was attended by prominent citizens.
