Organizes mega musical show, selects Big Radio Star RJ

Srinagar, Dec 15: Popular private entertainment radio channel 92.7 Big FM on Saturday completed its six years of operation in Kashmir.
 To commemorate its sixth anniversary, the 92.7 Big FM organized a mega-show in the state-of-the-art auditorium of the SKICC. The radio channel also held grand finale of its Big Radio Star RJ Hunt on the occasion. 
 In his address, station head of 92.7 Big FM Muzzaffar Shah said the endeavour of the channel in last six years has been to provide entertainment to listeners in Kashmir.
 “We have been successful in our endeavour and this would not have been possible without support of our dedicated team and listeners. We will formulate our programmes according to tastes of our listeners,” Shah said.
 Director Tourism Talat Parvez hailed the endeavour of 92.7 Big FM. “Like in arts, these youngsters should show talent in adventure tourism and participate in winter games. We have also devised special skill development programmes for youth and they should take its benefit,” Talat said.
 Earlier, RJ Nasir who anchored the programme in his unique style said the channel will ensure inclusion of Kashmiri songs in its programmes. “In view of longstanding demand of our listeners we will soon include various forms of Kashmiri songs in our programmes,” RJ Nasir said.  
 “I have been associated with this channel from past three years. I feel proud to be associated with a dedicated and hardworking team,” RJ Nasir said. 
 RJ Haya who has been associated with 92.7 Big FM since its inception in Kashmir expressed gratitude to the listeners for making the channel popular. “Our endeavour has been to provide entertainment to our valued listeners and we will continue to be main source of entertainment for them,” RJ Haya said.
 Programming head 92.7 Big FM Abrar Zargar said there were nearly thousand participants from across the Valley in the Big Radio Star RJ Hunt campaign.
 “Finally we selected five participants based on their performance and one of them Arshad Khan of Gurez was declared as winner,” Zargar said.
 Greater Kashmir and Kashmir Uzma are exclusive media partners of the 92.7 FM’s Big Radio State RJ Hunt campaign. The event was managed by 92.7 Big FM and Space Communications.
 Among others, CEO of Space Communications Amit Wanchoo, Awan Ahmad  of Jamkash Vehicleleades Pvt. Ltd. the promoting sponsors  of the event  besides  President of Kashmir Hotel and Restaurant’s Federation Faiz Bakshi, were also present.
 Prominent singers including Shazia Bashir and Irfan Bilal besides comedians and people with other talents performed on the occasion.
