CASS Union Elections held at GMC
Srinagar, Dec 15: The elections for students’ CASS Union of Government Medical College, Srinagar were Saturday held at the college premises Srinagar. The elections were supervised by of Prof Manzoor Qadir Keng, Chief Election Officer.
According to the Returning Officer, Dr Muhammad Salim Khan, around 400 students of GMC cast their votes while as seventeen candidates were in the fray to try their luck for various office bearers.
The successful candidates include Faizan Younis Shah for the post of president, Aamir Mushtaq for vice-president post, Aaqib Aslam for secretary academics, Choudhary Muzaffar for Secretary Social and Aid, Zainab Nabi as secretary cultural and Ubaid Rasool as secretary sports sub-committees of CASS Union for 2012-13.
