SMC demolishes illegal structure at Habbak
Srinagar, Dec 15: Srinagar Muncipal Corporation’s enforcement squad today demolished an illegal commercial structure at Habak here.
“The applicant was granted permission in 2008 for construction of three storey residential house upto the plinth area of 1500 sq. ft. But in violation of BOCA norms the applicant had come up with the five storey residential cum commercial building upto the plinth area of 3400 sq ft. accordingly the action had been taken against the offender under the provision of BOCA act 1988 and the demolition order has been passed for the deviation portion of the building,” a spokesman of SMC said in a statement.
