Assault on auto driver triggers protest

Bandipora, Dec 16: Attack on an auto-driver by an unidentified passenger at Wullar Vintage Park triggered massive protest here today.
The auto driver identified as Ayaz Ahmed Mir of Putushay was allegedly attacked with a knife by a passenger in the auto-rickshaw.
To protest against the incident, the auto-rickshaw drivers staged protest in front of Deputy Commissioner’s office here demanding action against the accused.
Meanwhile, police claimed to have arrested a person in the case.
