EDB opens business unit at Kulgam
Srinagar, Dec 17: Ellaquai Dehati Bank opened a Business Unit at Kulgam taking the total tally of its branches to 125. Chief Guest M Y Zarger Additional District Development Commissioner Kulgam inaugurated the branch in presence of Bank’s Chairman A.K.Razdan.
Welcoming the guests Razdan said that bank is actively contributing in socio-economic development of the state”. He said that bank’s CD ratio in Kulgam is 130 per cent with major portion its invested in agriculture sector.
He stressed upon the people to take full advantage of loan products designed by the Bank for the people living in the rural areas and especially for traders and farmer
Speaking on the occasion Zargar said that banks must cooperate with the line departments for implementation of the poverty elevating government schemes.
He appreciated Ellaquai Dehati Bank’s role in reaching to the poorest of poor in the far flung areas.
