FPF seizes illicit timber
Srinagar, Dec 1: Forest Protection Force (FPF) seized a truck containing illicit timber in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Officials said a team of FPF seized the 136 cubic feet of timber at Nowshera in Boniyar after a long chase. “The driver of the truck and another person tried to run over the FPF team but they were arrested and handed over to police. Source of the timber is Boniyar range. Seized timber and vehicle at FPF headquarters at Baramulla,” an official of FPF said.
