Who knows any sad story may have a successful ending

Are you one among them who are obsessed with what others think of them? How much are you influenced by your co-workers in your job?
Many individuals constantly keep thinking about what others think of them. This thought drives all their actions and wastes their energy. They are conscious and obsessed with other people’s opinion of them and they take each step thinking that the whole world is watching them. Just relax!! This is not always true. I have something very personal to share here to just carry the message through in this behalf. It dates back to more than a decade in my life. I took up a short foreign assignment at kingdom of Saudi Arabia to create finances for my higher studies at United Kingdom. I was lucky enough to qualify for super-speciality studies at University College London, royal infirmary school, possibly the third biggest university after Cambridge and Oxford in the world. A short while after, I was diagnosed a brain tumor by one of the reputed Nigerian physician carrying double FRCP in medicine. In a minute, my world stopped and I started counting the days of rest of my life. My project was undone. Fortunately or unfortunately, I had to return  to my soil along with my wife and kid.’ Fortunately’, because on my return it came out to be a misdiagnosis and I had some more life in store and ‘unfortunately,’ because I could not complete my project. Who knew what was good for me. At this stage of my life I can  say what God had decided for me proved to be the best for me. Every painful story has successful ending. I had a feeling people will always remember it but even for me, it seems an unhappened mishap which has not even the faintest impression in my mind except the lesson that I learnt from it. Many such mini dramas surround us in our day to day life but the truth is that people really do not have enough room in their heads to keep track of the day to day foibles happening in our life. If you are obsessed with such acts in your life and discuss them time and again, think that you may be just reflecting your own thoughts. A lot of people believe that others think the same way they do but most of the time that just isn’t the case.  We all are wrapped up in our own lives. Our attention needs to be focused on ourselves than on others. Well at times curiosity may find people thinking about other people; it is like watching movie or reading a novel. It helps them escape their own troubles for a while. Unless we do something heinous or hurtful, the people you work with are not going to hang on to all your missteps, mishaps or misfortunes nearly as long as you will. So stop worrying about what other people think of you. Start your new business and get involved. If you are relatively a decent human being with a sense of humour about yourself, people will remember the best things about you. Some people use meanness to get their way. It is hard to keep mean energy inside you if you are not really a mean person but unfortunately mean people do exist. They enjoy the feeling of power, their behavior gives them .For them being mean is an addiction and the meanness burns like a flame inside them. They are unaware of, how this type of personality eventually destroys any relationship, be that business or personal. It seems that there is more meanness today than before. Luckily not everyone behaves badly, we need to be choosy and handle these mean people trickily and wish to work with people who are kind.
