K-resolution must for Indo-Pak friendship: DPM
Srinagar, Dec 20: Democratic Political Movement (DPM) chairman Firdous Ahmad Shah on Thursday said the resolution of Kashmir issue was imperative for abiding peace in subcontinent and Indo-Pak bonhomie.
“There cannot be durable friendly relations between India and Pakistan until Kashmir issue is resolved in accordance with the wishes, sentiments and aspirations of Kashmiri people,” said Firdous Shah while addressing a meeting of DMP leaders today, adding that “no solution other than one for which the people of Kashmir have offered supreme sacrifices will be acceptable .”
The meeting elected advocate Parvaiz Ahmad Shah as party ambassador for Pakistan administered Kashmir in place of Showkat Ahmad Bhat.
