Sahitiya Akedemi announces awards

New Delhi, Dec 20: Sahitiya Akademi announced annual awards at the end of meeting of executive board here today.
A statement said in Kashmiri the main award has been bagged by Makhan Lal Kanwal for his poetry collection “Yeth Angnas Manz”.
The translation award in Kashmiri has been announced in favour of Abdul Ahad Hajini for his translation work “Tyoth Pazar”.
The yuva puruskar in Kashmiri has gone to young poet and critic Farooq Shaheen for his book “Gash-e-Malar”.  An announcement to this effect was made by the convener Kashmiri Advisory Board Dr Aziz Hajini here.
