Gagribal residents appeal Forest Minister
Srinagar, Dec 21: Residents of Old Gagribal have appealed to the Minister of Forests Mian Altaf to activate the Forest hut in the area to prevent encroachment of forest land.
A delegation from the area said the Forest hut situated behind a receiving station there was closed in 1990. “Some unscrupulous people are trying to encroach upon forest land near lane leading to the receiving station. If the forest hut is activated it can help to prevent encroachment of forest land,” they said
