Joan Shorenstein Center Fellowship at Harvard
Journalists from around the world who are interested in sharing, expanding and researching public policy and political affairs can apply for this fellowship.
The Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government is accepting applications for the Joan Shorenstein Center Fellowship.
Applicants must be journalists, scholars or policymakers active in the field of press, politics and public policy. English fluency is required.
Fellows are required to live in residence for one semester, and will receive a US$30,000 stipend disbursed in four instalments over the semester. Travel and living expenses are not covered by the center.
Office space, computer, printer and telephone are provided. To apply, send a cover letter, a completed application form, a research project proposal, a curriculum vitae/resume and recommendations.

New Europe College international fellowship for young researchers
New Europe College and Institute for Advanced Study in Bucharest, Romania is offering International Research Fellowships in the fields of Humanities, Social Studies and Economics.
The Fellowship consists of a monthly stipend of 600 Euro (tax free), accommodation, international transportation to and from the home country of the Fellows at the beginning and the end of the Fellowship, as well as for season holidays. The Fellows who stay for the whole academic year are offered a one-month research trip abroad to an institution of their choice (2,600 Euro for transportation, accommodation, and per diem). As an alternative, they can opt for a field research, in Romania or outside it.
Eligibility: Applicants must be doctoral students in an advanced stage of their research, or hold a PhD title. Preference is given to candidates under the age of 40, and to those who have not yet benefited from a NEC Fellowship.

European Commission-funded EXPERTS III Scholarship for South Asia
EXPERTS I and its successors, EXPERTS II and EXPERTS III are scholarship projects funded by the European Commission targeted at citizens of Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
The project provides scholarship opportunities for students and Staff from South and South-East Asia to European partner universities
To be eligible to apply, SSEAN undergraduate, Master students and Doctorate and Post-Doctorate Candidates must:
be a national of one of the following countries; Bangladesh – Bhutan – China – India – Indonesia – Nepal – Pakistan – Sri Lanka – the Philippines – Thailand
have not resided nor have carried out your main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of the European countries. Please note that this rule does not apply to TG3 Candidates.
have a sufficient knowledge of the language of courses or of one of the languages currently spoken in the hosting country.
To be eligible to apply, SSEAN Administrative and Academic Staff Candidates must:

Government of India, Ministry of Culture offers Fellowships/Scholarships in Cultural Research for Indian Nationals and Foreign Citizens in India 2013

Global Health Corps Fellowship
Global Health Corps (GHC) provides opportunities for young professionals from diverse backgrounds to work on the frontlines of the fight for global health equity. It is currently open to accepting applications for the 2013-14 fellowship opportunity.
Global Health Corps fellows are agents of change who:

Sochon Foundation Scholarship
The Sochon Foundation is pleased to offer Postgraduate Scholarships for International applicants to pursue Korean Studies at School of Oriental and African Studies (SAOS) University of London in UK.
The scholarship, valued at £7,000 in total, will be used to off-set the cost of tuition fees and/or provide some support for living expenses. The scholarship is applied to tuition fees in the first instance, any remainder may be considered for living costs.
The Sochon Foundation Scholarship may be held in conjunction with other scholarships. However, please be aware that all financial support secured before 24 May 2013 must be declared to the Advisory Panel in applicant’s application. Any awards held will be taken into consideration on assessment of financial need.
The scholarship is for one year only. For candidates undertaking an MPhil/PhD programme, the scholarship is not renewable.
Eligibility: Open to UK/EU and overseas applicants.
Applicants must have an offer of admission to a full-time postgraduate Korean Studies programme at SOAS by the scholarship application deadline.

Wells Mountain Foundation Scholarship for Developing Countries
The Wells Mountain Foundation offers Scholarship for Post secondary education (college, university, polytechnic, trade school). This Scholarship covers the cost of education itself and directly related expenses including books and supplies ranging from $300 to $2000. The applicants will be notified if they have been selected as a WMF Scholar by approximately August 1, 2013. Applicants must hold a secondary education with excellent grades. The applicants will be studying in their country or other country in the world. The Scholarship application deadline is April 1, 2013.
 Study Subjects: The scholarship is provided to learn any of the courses offered by the university.
Successfully completed a secondary education, with good to excellent grades
Will be studying in their country or another country in the developing world
Plans to live and work in their own country after they graduate
Has volunteered prior to applying for this scholarship and/or is willing to volunteer while receiving the WMF scholarship
May have some other funds available for their education, but will not be able to go to school without a scholarship
