Omar doesn’t need sermons: NC

‘He does not believe in self promotion’

Srinagar, Dec 24: The National Conference on Monday ridiculed the PDP by calling it a ‘Publicity Driven Party’ and described it as a spent force overflowed with corrupt bureaucrats and professional turn coats
“A party of vested interests and power hungry people, almost a spent force in the politics and whose delusions of being a player in the politics of the state were recently dashed by the Legislative Council elections has the nerve to talk against the Omar Abdullah or NC-led coalition” said NC spokesman Tanvir Sadiq said. “Their rantings reinforce the huge decline and oblivion of this party”
Ridiculing PDP President, NC Spokesman in his address said “Omar Abdullah does not need sermons from anybody, least from a party which is based on, treachery and deceit. Look into your own track record and criminal trajectories before commenting” said Tanvir “Your anti-Kashmir policies, plots and blunders cost the state 100,000 innocent lives” he said
“They seem to have forgotten how they one by one killed the Hizbul Commanders who wanted to come forward for talks, how they installed Jagmohan to start an era of bloodshed, In the name of healing touch gave killing touch” reminding them about Massacres he added “Bijbehara, Hawal, Handwara, Gawkadal, Amarnath Land row, Sex Scandal, Forest scams, Jammu versus Kashmir, weakening Panchayat Raj system and above all trying to dilute the special status of the state have been their highlights” said Tanvir.
“Omar Abdullah does not believe in vulgar publicity and self promotion. He has left this impression on the government he leads. The people of the state will give their verdict in 2014- which will be a date that will serve as the obituary for the PDP” said Tanvir adding “Frustration, bitterness, and disguising this as a critique is a reflection of the deeper and structural malaise that has gripped the PDP”.
