Shah Anwar Colony residents seek police intervention
Srinagar, Dec 24: The inhabitants of Shah Anwar Colony, Hyderpora Bypass have appealed police to take measures for preventing thefts in the area.
A delegation from the area said thieves recently decamped with tyres of a vehicle in the area.
“Due to construction of a drain, we have to park our vehicles outside the colony. Besides miscreants damage street-lights by pelting stones mostly during evenings. These incidents have caused panic among us,” they said.
“We appeal senior police officers to look into the matter and nab the accused at the earliest to restore sense of security among us,” they said.
