Sagar for better facilities to devotees
Srinagar, Dec 24: Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Muhammad Sagar today directed the district administration Srinagar to make all efforts to provide basic facilities to the people in connection with Urs Hazrat Sheikh Hamzah Sultan-ul-Arifeen, Makhdoom Sahib (RA), being celebrated on December 26.
The Minister was interacting with a team of officers during his visit to the Shrine today. He directed RTO Kashmir to providing transport facilities to the devotees till late in evening.
Sagar also directed the officers of the PDD and PHE to work in coordination to ensure better power and water supplies.
On the occasion various deputations of people called on the Minister and apprised him about the problems confronting them during winter. The Minister assured to take up their genuine demands with the concerned authorities for their early redressal.
