Legal Awareness Camps held at Baramulla, Uri
Srinagar, Dec 25: The chairman Legal Services Committee, Pattan, M A Al-Nasir, organized two functions on “Concept of Mediation and Conciliation as an Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanism” at Government Degree College Pattan and Dak Bungalow Uri.
Both the functions were presided over by the Principal, Session’s Judge, Baramulla, Kaneez Fatima.
The Deputy Commissioner , Baramulla, Kh Ghulam Ahmad was the guest of honour, and the Principal Government Degree College , Pattan, Shaheena Afaq, the special guest at Degree College, Baramulla.
The Additional Session’s Judge, Baramulla, Q A Qureshi was the special guest in Uri.
The speakers on these occasions threw light on the concept of mediation and conciliation as an alternative dispute resolution mechanism and urged the participants to encourage the mechanism for speedy disposal of the cases between the parties.
They said this method of resolving disputes is the feasible way for settling disputes.
